About this talk

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are prevalent and have adverse academic, mental, and physical consequences. School professionals see firsthand the impact of ACEs on student attendance, time on task, aggression, and distractibility. School connectedness is a strategy that can buffer many of these negative consequences. Specific strategies for increasing school connectedness in person and in a virtual environment will be discussed.
